Safety and Construction
The outer shell of the C5 is constructed from fiberglass, reinforced with a carbon layer using Schuberth's Direct Fibre Processing (DFP) technique. This results in a lightweight helmet at just 1640 grams, without compromising on impact absorption. The helmet complies with the latest in safety standards, with an ECE22.06 homolgation. The C5 also features P/J dual homologation, allowing the helmet to be used on public roads, both in the open and closed chin bar position. Schuberth's Anti-Roll-Off System (A.R.O.S.) keeps the helmet securely in place during impact.
Comfort and Ventilation
Inside, the helmet is lined with a seamless, hypoallergenic interior that is both antibacterial and quick-drying. The redesigned neck roll ensures improved comfort and is easy to remove for cleaning. The ventilation system is highly efficient, featuring a dual chin air intake with replaceable filters, a large top vent, and a rear spoiler with an integrated exhaust outlet. This setup guarantees optimal airflow and temperature regulation for long-distance comfort.
Visibility and Visor
The ultra-wide visor provides a huge field of view and comes with a scratch-resistant coating. A Pinlock® 120 anti-fog lens is included, to keep the helmet from fogging up, for clear vision in all conditions. The patented memory visor mechanism ensures the visor returns to its preset position after opening and closing. The integrated sun visor is easily operated and offers additional glare protection on sunny rides.
Communication and Extras
The C5 is pre-wired for the Schuberth SC2 communication system, powered by Sena® technology. Thanks to the Plug & Play design, installation is effortless—just snap the modules into place and you're ready to connect. Additional features include reflective panels for enhanced visibility, a glasses-friendly interior, and a premium carrying bag.
